That's not ECMLink, it will always be written on the chip.

Whoops, my mistake. Sorry TS, I guess it could be. I'm so used to seeing the bright red chip.

Why is the chip so big? Do you still need an eprom ecu to use it?

The EPROM chip is just the small part with the white sticker on it. The rest of the green PCB is the daughter board for the 1g ECU.

Looks like a 1g v2 setup to me (based on the daughter/memory board and the cable). It won't work in a 2g ECU.

If so, it's pretty safe to say it's an older version of Link.

No, that is just a memory board to save the tune. It could be soldered in, but it will fit right in a 28 pin socket just the stock 28 pin chip does. It will only work for a 1g EPROM ecu.
