Nope, they won't. No matter what story you have. They are not selling any v2 stuff any more either.
Just upgrade to v3 then
The Lite version is available now as well for a couple hundred cheaper.

And here goes these two suggestions
As I said earlier, you need the chip and adapter/cable to upgrade v2 to v3. The adapter is the "key" to the v2 system, so you can't upgrade without it (the "key" for v3 is the chip, as you can purchase another cable if you need it).
And the Lite version is only available for Evo I-III at the moment. The DSM version is still in the works.
So, the OP either needs to buy a used adapter/cable (i.e. the one from 1993eclipsegs) or from the classifieds/eBay. Or he needs to buy a brand new v3 package.
