Is this crack in my t28 housing ok?

I've read several "cracked housing" threads but they all seem to be on the wastegate flapper. This is a used t28 i picked up and what i've got here is a small hairline crack that is about an inch long, but what worries me is that it runs up into the flange that bolts to the manifold. Do you guys think this will cause any problems down the road?

I just got this back from Swain Tech along with my o2 housing and hope it wasn't all for nothing. I don't know if the crack was there before, or maybe i just didn't notice. Let me know what you think.

The majority of cracks are seen around the wastegate area. A crack that big in that location could cause issues down the road.

I wouldn't worry about it. The only way to get a replacement housing is to have a good T25 housing cut for your turbine spec, so it's not going to be easy to find another.

Ok, I guess if it fails i'll just grab an evoIII and call it a day.

Like justin said it should be fine..As long as it isn't all the way through which it don't look like it is..I couldn't even see the crack till you highlighted it..
