Is this an evo316g

I've done the research and it tells its a mhi but the numbers are different 49178-05200 doesn't register, research shows 48178 is evo. can someone clarify this for me please

It's a Small 16G.

I think it was a typo because turbo says 9 unless he just wants to dupe us.

excuse my ignorance but i'm confused, if its a 9 its not an evo or is it the lst 5 digits that determine? The first 5 show its a 16g and the last 4 show whether its small, big or evo?

The LAST 5 digits are the determining factor. Of the first 5 digits, I believe:
49177 = TD04
49178 = TD05
49179 = TD06.

As the TD05 part numbers go:
49178-01010, 49178-01030, 49178-01410 = 14B
49178-05200 = Small 16G
49178-01420 = Big 16G
49178-01460 = Evo2 16G
49178-01470 = Evo3 16G

I've noticed that the EVO series doesn't depict if it's small or large 16G as with the DSM's. Are these special turbos then?

I have a 49178-01450 turbo in my Ply Laser.

All Evo series 16G turbos use a compressor wheel with a large backplate; they are all "Big" 16G's to my knowledge.
