I don't believe the Chinese have caught on to building knockoff HX35's yet, so if it says "HX35" on the tag I'm willing to bet it's the real deal.

Im just worried because this sounds like too good of a deal to be true. 15k miles for $250 but he 'thinks' it externally gated... not sure if he just doesnt know enough about cars to tell the difference

Its coming off of a 01 Dodge Cummins 5 speed (replacement for the original turbo). If that helps.
