Is this a real Green?

I'm looking at buying a FP green from this guy, but the pictures he sent of it don't look like the pictures FP has on their site. I think i can see a little on the cover. I don't have a whole hell of a lot of experience with these turbos though, so if someone who does could look at the pics and tell me whether or not it's a green, and if it's not if anyone knows what it is. Thanks,

FP Turbos will have their logo stamped either on the compressor cover, or the turbine housing. Even sometimes both. I would ask him to take a pic of their stamp to show its legit.

Agreed.

It does look like a green but mine has the FP logo stamped in the compressor housing where the rectangle is. The logo should also be stamped on the turbine housing mating surface to the O2 housing as it is on both of my FP turbos.

This is a green, outer appearance looks the same but the comp. housing is slightly different and the one you have shown is not stamped with an FP logo...

Well, i sent the guy an email asking him to take a picture of the stamp, so hopefully this will help clear things up. The only thing i've been wondering is that from what i understand the green is a hybrid. So why would the cover have a mitsubishi symbol on it and not garrett? Thanks to all the replies,

Because its a Mitsubishi/Garrett hybrid.

I thought that the hybrid was a mitsu hot side mated to a garrett compressor?

For some reason I dont think that is a real green, maybe it has the same internals tho *shrugs*
