I just took apart my ecu in my car, recently i put a v3 lte chip in it, and the car would react strange, pull 30 percent fuel and never let the o2 sensor oscilate. Here is the board notice the area where the normally leaky cap is , there is a hole right through it, and some small red wires connecting tracers, also notice the rust mark on the ecu back plate, does this look normal and profesioanlly repaired, or is this a basement hackjob? Also in the third picture there is 6 black "electrical somethings" in a row and i noticed the 3rd in was sticky on the top, and stuck the the second one in, is this normal? Thanks!

I'd say that is pretty reasonable for what you are working with. Not too many other ways to fix that.

Didi they tell you that it had a hole in the board or did you know? I'm really surprised they fixed it! I would have told you to get another eprom ecu. But I have had at least 10 ecus fixed by ecmlink and they were perfect everytime! But if I were you I would just get another one for sake of mind!
