You're not suppose to, I have always said that the BOV line is one of the worst place to tap for your MBC.maximumbob said:Just out of curiosity if we spend all this time hunting bov leaks with the mbc unplugged so it won't leak out, why do we plug it back in to let it leak out when we are on the road?
Yes it's a boost leak but a necessary one, without it, pressure gets trapped between mbc and actuator causing the flapper to stay open. Keep in mind that this only happens at WOT when pressure is released to the actuator since the bleeder hole is located on the out fitting of the mbc.maximumbob said:Sorry I meant to say boost leaks not bov leaks. So would hooking the mbc line back up not just give you a massive boost leak?
