making a boost leak tester

Decided to make a boost leak tester for a 14B. This is the first time I've made one, I spent like 25 dollars on everything. so here are some pics let me know what you think.:rocks:

Im still not done with it, i wanna get a smaller hose and fitting cause that hose is a little too big for the valve stem. hopefully this works out nice.

Hey that looks just like the design that I posted here on tuners to a few people and on an old thread LOL. Did you spray the PVC cap with an adhesive to preven tit from poping off. First run with mine it flew off like no other giving me a bruse and a nise gash in my hand. I used spray on adhesive on the edge of the PVC cap to help keep it in place under high pressure.

Mine works great and I have used it on allot of vehicles with great results. The tire pressure gauge helps by showing how fast the pressure is lost to get an idea how big the leak is. It also is easy to read how much PSI of air your pumping into your DSM's engine.

Good work! I would cut off the little tire valve push rod to remove all of them fittings on the gauge for a cleaner look like I did with mine. Heres what mine for show and tell LOL.
