Ebay Boost Leak Tester

Has anyone ever used this boost leak tester:

If so which one should I use for my T-25. Its says its for turbo's with a 2.5 inlet and that seems too big to use on a T-25. He has a bunch of them listed on his store.

Well i think the t-25 inlet is 2.25, correct me if i'm wrong. I recently used my buddys boost leak tester and it had a 2.5 inlet BUT inside the turbo side of the stock intake pipe there is a rubber insert because it looks like they made the pipe too big. I put THAT inside the 2.5 diameter and it worked great. Hope this helps.

You can also push the boot leak tester further onto the turbo. It will clamp to the slightly larger diameter area behind the area the intake clamps on, right up next to the larger part of the compressor housing.

I used a 2.5" coupler on my car to pressure test it when it had the T-25. I use the same pressure tester on my 16g.

It's not hard to make a tester so I hope that one would work. I don't know what it looks like as all of their pictures are broken (red x boxes). As long as it doesn't leak itself and you can pressurize to at least 20 psi on it unless you run higher, go for it if others agree on it.

Buy it. I bought one, works great. I can leak test 20 lbs fine. I waste many trips & time trying to make this from Lowes & Home Depot. Just order it & sit at home & wait.

just for future reference the t-25 inlet is 2.25 inches.....
