is this a 22 spline 90 transmission?

Can some figure out what transmission I have by the Vin?

Do you know what year car it came out of? i believe all 90's were 22 spline. 91 were mixed between the two and then 92+ were all 23 if you can find that out.

This is on a 90 gsx with a 92 laser fwd engine, it has a 4 bolt rear end so I was just trying to figure out what transmission it is so I can get a new one and have it ready to swap in when the weather is decent.

did your 90 come with this specific tranny or have you swapped it before?

It is a 1990 transmission. Assuming it is all original, it will be a 22-spline. You'd be wise to check it before you order something you don't have, though, and end up like this guy: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/drivetrain-tech/429753-please-read-i-need-your-help-tranny-t-case-issue.html

Because yours is a FWD transmission.

That isn't a vin code it's a transmission ID code. Since it doens't have a vin that means it was a replacement transmission at some point. NPZS is the 90 code and as such it likely does have a 22 spline output and the 90 style shift levers but there is no guarantee what's inside. And good grief fix your oil leaks.
