So as im peicing together my 1gb. I have the tank out and already knownim gonna try to make a dual pump hanger from the stock one. Upon doing this the though arouse about the stock return line... a little insite so yoinknow where im headed with this.. planning to run e85 at some point. Want to go woth -8an feed. The fic fuel rail im getting has 6an return end. Which is for regulator, but i started to wonder about the return. Seen a few threads with some talk about it but no real answer. The only thing they really do is go back and forth with opinions. And talk about this plastic orifce some where that i can only assume is theis light blue ck valve looking thing on top of the tank. My question is asking advise. Im aiming for between 600-700 on pump gas. And 750-800 if i can on e85. Will the stock return line be efficent enough to run e85? And if not. How are you guys doing the what i would guess -6an return to tank?

On a side note to this. I seen alot of back and forth over the dual 255l pumps or single 450l and now seeing dual 450l. Would 2 walbro 255l be enough for a 700 hp area car on pump gas and e85?

I am running 8an feed and stock return with a wally450/aeromotive 340 in a dual hanger on e85.

Someone on here, at one time, cut open a AFPR and found that the return inside it is pretty small. I run stock feed and return on E85 with a 340 intank pump, but with your goals of 700-800 I agree just go ahead and at least do a 8an feed and might as well do a good return. Some guys use the original feed line as a larger return line just fyi.

On my 2g with a walbro 450, I had to drill out the siphon to get the fuel pressure down, but then I had some weird lean condition with boost. When testing, the afpr seemed to be rising with boost pressure. Someone on the link boards told me he had the same issue and increasing his return line size solved it. So I'm currently in the process of running a new return line to see if it solves it for me. Though I ran into a roadblock trying to use a -6an return line with the 2g awd fuel sending unit...

I was wondering how to go about running a 6an return with a stock steel tank.. but i just bit the bullet and got a fullblown dual hanger for a deal comes with 2 jay racing pro340l pumps so i think thats gonna sole the worrie of it.
