is my head warped?

Well i posted about this the other day....

on an hour drive home when buying my car it decided to overheat.

after further inspection we found that only half the bolts were torqued down if that. And the manual boost controller was hidden and the screw was taken out of it. the injectors were jammed so hard in the fuel rail it destroyed the bushings. throttle cable was wove inbetween other cables. CAS was unplugged...

Any ideas on the damage im looking at?

Do you have any idea what the boost pressure was at? Is it a stock turbo on there?
How bad was it overheated?

You might be ok re-torquing the head bolts (if, by "bolts" you meant head bolts) and unhacking the other stuff. I'd say do that first, see how it runs and do a compression check and leakdown test. If you still have a cooling problem, you might have warped the head or blew the head gasket.

I hate how so many of these cars are hacked together.

Well i think my tstat was stuck because it never got past halfway hot.
My exhaust mani was glowing red hot and its stock..
14b turbo the whole car is stock except the boost gauge, filter and that POS boost controller.

it was reading 7lbs WOT and the car was extra sluggish

sounds like a boost leak... do a leakdown test and it could take care of it.

Well yeah i know it was a boost leak the boost controller didnt even have the knob in it..

the car did shut off and wouldnt turn over afterwards...but it would still try and crank at like 200 rpms

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought our cars wouldn't run unless the CAS was plugged in. Also, if you drove the car and overheated it with the head bolts not properly torqued, your head is mot likely warped.

Well bro it was running before i plugged it back in.... and yeah thats what i thought about the head.... but theres no oil or anything coming from around the head.... but the valve cover is missing all the bolts around the sparkplugs and oiil came up through them i believe should i go snag a picture?

The only way to see if the head is warped is to pull it off and check it with a flatedge and feeler gauges. I'd tighten everything down and do a compression test.

I would also check your head bolts to make sure they are not stretched

Hmmm I guess I was wrong about the CAS and I think the shop I use charged me $75-$100 to deck and hot tank my head.
