Okay so im thinking my ecu is done for. Yesterday i had to swap out my oil pump so i did that and when i went to turn the key it would just crank and crank but wouldnt start. My timing is correct. I didnt mess with anything else.. I have no fuel or spark for some reason. Is it my ecu?

When you turn the key to the "ON" position does your CEL illuminate for 5 seconds and disappear, remain illuminated, or not illuminate at all?

Did you check your 20A MOTOR fuse? Its the blue one in the engine bay fuse box. Since you installed a new oil pump you probably removed your crank position sensor (CPS), did you re-install it and plug it in?

:dsm:

Lol yes i remembered to install the crank sensor.
I just checked and the check engine light does turn on. And goes away.
Btw your car is fvcking gorgeous!!!

Oh and all fuses are good.

The A/C compressor connector looks exactly the same as the CPS connector, you sure you plugged in the right connector? The CPS has a BLUE w/ WHT stripe, RED, and BLACK wire going into the back of it.

If you double check the connector and its the right one check out these no start troubleshooting procedures. 2g No Start How To

Yes im postive its connected right. And i just checked LOL. I wire tucked my bay so i know where they all go. And the ac is gone and i have that wire wrapped up and zip tied so i cant mistake it for the cps..and even if i did connect the the crank sensor to the wrong one wouldnt i still have spark from the cam sensor?(not being a smart ass just need clarification)
But why wouldnt i have fuel?.. I didnt mess with any connections at all! Just the timing side and now it wont start :(

DSM's are funny, if you aren't getting a CPS/CAS signal sometimes you'll have spark on 2 cylinders and other times you won't have spark at all.

Just because you didn't touch anything else doesn't mean something didn't go bad or you looked over something changing the oil pump. Go through those no start troubleshooting procedures line by line and post you results, who knows what you'll find.

Did you also do the wire tuck or has the wire tuck been done for awhile now and the car has started since?

:dsm:

Problems like that, are usually the most obvious. For EX, I changed a headgasket, and did a turbo swap. Car cranks but no start... I check the belt, and the wires........ Behold the almighty Coil wire sitting in the middle of no were.

Your problem may not be that obvious, but just look for stuff like that while your troubleshooting. It could be as simple as a loose wire, or connector.

As for as I can tell, it seems sensor related.

Yeah well i found out it was the crank sensor itself so i replaced that and it started up fine and i have oil pressure again :D. But my frkkn car idles at 4k rpm now and idk what to do :((

You sound like me. Do a simple head swap, and drop in another block. Then bam, Bad idle, no power at all. Can't even accelerate past 2k. Rediculous.
