He Claims he has a HX35 for sale and its brand new... but on previous posts it was rebuilt with 500 ish miles the link show it all!!!

My brother was in the market for an HX35 and settled a deal for 275 shipped. send him the money via paypal and he emails me a week later said he send the turbo to the wrong guy and a whole cr*p of bull came out his mouth. almost three weeks later he wont anwers phone calls text or email and wont refund a dime!

now i have to put up with my brother cause i was the one that set all this up!

PLEASE DONT FALL INTO HIS SCAM!!!!

If he got it through paypal he can file a complaint and get a partial/or a full refund. Call paypal and check it out. I had to do it once with a blowoff valve I bought that was broken.

Looks like a shitty used takeoff turbo that someone painted flat black to me.


Since the one ad claims "Please dont pm me asking a million questions. Ive described what this thing is..." everyone that views this thread should PM the doosh and ask him what exactly he's selling.

But im just Posting this to make it noticed that hes a scammer and to help others from getting screwed over!

funny thing is he gave me his number and that can tell me alot about him... if only he knew what kind of searching i can do hahah!

Man, I hate to hear about this stuff. I just got ripped on a used cylinder head. I have an email from the guy saying there are no dings or dents on the gasket surface, yet the first thing I saw were irreperable dents right on the fire ring.
People who do this sort of thing should be prosecuted for fraud.

I think paypal is awesome when it comes to that stuff. My buddy had a similar situation and paypal got in contact with the seller and threatened him with paypal ban and something else and he gave my buddy the money next day. Paypal is awesome!

Same happened to me, I got a "Flaming, Trolling, Bashing" strike. Still on my record til this day. But honestly, this sort of thing STOPS SCAMMERS from scamming honest buyers on DSMtuners. This needs to be known.

And Paypal isn't that awesome, I'm still owed $135 or so. I've been scammed twice on here so far. And almost went for that $130 Holset turbo as well. But thought... "Hmmm, that's a lil too cheap. Probably trying get a bunch of buyers and rack up $2000 before the day is over from 18 buyers."

I feel for you i bought a what i thought was a good condition 1g throttle body from someone on here and when i got it it was all broken, I hit him up and hey said he doenst have the money to refund me so i would have to wait tell he re-sells it.

Don't know your situation RonRonTSI, but this 1G-3Geclipses guy has recently posted ads, and doesn't have the intelligence to change the pics for 2 different listed turbos. I think that sKatershawn is just trying to warn some people that this guys newly posted ads(that seem to good to be true...)may be scams. I hate to hear when anyone gets scammed.

There is a Vendors Reviewed Site for situations just like this. Go there and post it. Please do not post it in the forums here.

If the DSMers that get ripped of used our Buyer/Seller feedback tool, there would be less scamming going on. Instead, people use the forums to try and let people know about scammers, which does people no good who are looking at a classified ad from a member. Leave the member negative ratings and people will see it easier. I don't see any negative feedback for that user in the last year. That tells me he's a good seller. How are others supposed to know about your brother's dealings if he doesn't use the feedback tool?

Please use the system the way it's supposed to be used and you'll achieve the same goal more effectively. We specifically ask people to use the member rating tool in the profiles rather post this stuff here. It's more effective if you leave feedback in the appropriate area as opposed to the forums. Plus, we don't want people who weren't involved in the transaction posting more hearsay in threads like this.
