Alright, who's going to be the brave (read: rich) soul to put this item to the test? I'm curious how this compares to the Quaife LSD which is next on my list of upgrades, but IPT's model is not only cheaper but may be designed in particular for a/t application. Anyone have it? Anyone going to get it? :D

Stop watching your horsepower go up in smoke!
The benefits of our torque biasing L.S.D. include: • A nearly ideal 50/50 left to right wheel torque distribution • No clutches to wear out- virtually indestructible with a two year warranty • Direct replacement for the factory component with built-in speedometer gear, etc. • Operation is virtually transparent during normal street driving but can handle extreme power at the strip • Priced lower than competitive units

Price: $879

I would buy from John's outfit without reservation, if I were in the market.

Eh, $900? What, two or three car payments? Not really all that much, is it.

I'm thinking the same thing. This piece looks like the Quaife but priced like the Kaaz. I'll probably go for this lsd.

I've always had good feedback about IPT, but this a turn in the wrong direction. I called them because I wasn't sure weather mine had the large or small axles, I asked "are they in stock?" "Yessir, we have them here and ready to ship." So I placed my order. I get a call about three days later "We're currently out of stock. It'll be about four weeks before we get any more." Just to follow up, I called them today "We won't have any more of those for at least two months":barf: I've delt with IPT before. They've always been helpful, knowledgable, and just great people to deal with.

Could someone from IPT enlighten me on what exactly is causing the hold up?
