Hello, I have a problem with the alternator of my Eclipse G2. I've tried to look for a topic about it on the forum but I haven't found anything similar. My alternator normally charges 14 volts right after starting, but after some time, even with the car idling, it loses charging voltage and drops to only 11 volts. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, can you help me solve it? I suspect it might be something related to the voltage regulator, but I decided to seek out experts to clear up the doubt before removing it. My car has a Fueltech ECU, would this be a problem too?

Time for a new alternator - the voltage regulator is part of the alternator. These cars eat alternators for lunch, so look for a lifetime warranty unit.
BTW, it's 2g (as-in 2nd generation). G2 sounds like some new knockoff Eclipse, and I actually had to look it up to make sure it wasn't.

The Alt can be fine cold and then fail when its warmed up. I had a NEW Reman OEM unit do this. it was perfectly fine for about 10 mins and once warmed up it shut off producing low lower. it happens and on the bench testing they could not simulate this either. it had to be on the car for it to fail and some shops do not understand this part LOL
