Ok my car reaches its peak boost and like almost every time i drive the car around like this the IC hose just blows off. Is it the clamps im using? should i switch to tbolt clamps or is my car just have to much air coming in for the stock IC to hold? Thanks for any help.

so you are running stock piping and stock intercooler?

are your clmaps behing the metal ring on each one of the connections?

Reg worm gear clamps are junk. If you want your couplers to stay on, Tbolts & a beaded pipe are the way to go. This combo will hold fine for 99% of DSM owners.

very true when i installed a fmic and 20g on my old tsi i kept blowing the same ic pipe off. picked up a ton of tbold the coupler never came off again

rubber bands and paper clips work great too... KIDDING

dont for get duct tape that will work on anything

I would almost upgrade your intercooler to a supra sidemount or go to a frontmount your stock intercooler could also be parcially plugged.
