keep blowing intercooler hose

My lower intercooler hose keeps blowing when I'm reaching peak boost, 17 psi. If I weld a little bead around the the pipe that the hoses connect too will it keep the pipes from blowing off?

mine has a little bead around it, but try tightening your hose clamp tighter, mine blew off once before and the clamp was just loose

If your pipe does not have a bead already on it, it will blow off no matter how tight the clamps are.

I'm going to wait on the bead since I'm getting a new IC. Does anybody make lower IC piping?
