I know there is other posts about this, but no real good ones I can find to help an electrical retard like myself fix this problem. My dash gauge lights and tail lights (and some others I forget wich) went out. I checked the tail lights fuse on my car and it was blown so I replaced it with a fuse of the same size (15 amp) and it blew again a day later.

I know this probably means a short, but what do I need and where do I start to get this fixed so I can drive my car. I just bought it last week, it's a 99 GSX.

Do you have an after market radio? I had this happen on my car once and it was because the dimmer wire was grounding out on some other wires. This cause my dash/running lights to keep going out and many blown fuses.
