I'm 17 and my insurance for my '92 TSi is $130/month, thats with one ticket but the DA was nice enough to drop it for me so I guess I have a clean driving record...My first car was a '93 Ford Taurus and my insurance was only around $90/month, damn I miss that Taurus...

Yeah I'm a 16 year old boy who wants to get a 91 tsi awd. My dad says insurance is high for it though. Just asking how much do any of you guys pay for it. If any Insurance guys are on here shoot me a quote. I have a curfew ticket on my record and thats all. I just wanted to get a quick reply here before I call again on monday.
 
130 a month. I'm 17, been driving for about a year. The car is in my name(dunno if that even makes a difference) and I'm getting a slight reduction for having good grades.
 
the price for insurance shouldn't be that much more then any other car. they aren't considered sports cars, they are considered economy cars because of the hatch back. that's what my insurance agent told me when i got insurance. i pay 77 a month because i am in school and in honors and all that good stuff.
 
I pay 150 and that's with a perfect driving record. There was big difference on mine because of the turbo. Mine is a 97 though so that might make a diiferece. On my old vehicle with more coverage I paid like 85$ For that same coverage on my eclipse it was like 180$. So I had to loose a little coverage to get it affordable. Oh yea and I'm 22 years old.

BTW my suzuki GSXR costs me $260 a month.
together, thats a lot of fuggin insurance.
 
it depends on your area you live in too and if it is garaged and what your intent for driving the vehicle is.
 
I'm 22 and I only pay $31 a month for my 91 GST... I'm with State Farm and I have had speeding tickets; they've all cleared now, though.
 
I pay $280/month for full dropped from $350 when I turned 21. Multiple offences/suspended license...kind of sad that its the money making me regret the stupid #@%#@%#@%#@% I used to do.

i'm 22 and only pay 118 a month for my 98 GS and Isuzu Rodeo together. just recently had quite a few tickets roll off my record though, and getting married really dropped that monthly payment down!
 
good god i tried to get a 95 talon tsi awd before i bought my car and i was quoted at 430 a month!

my n/t is about 175 a month, all of this is through state farm.
 
Holy sweet mother of Christ you guys pay alot for ins.

I am 24 no tickets no accidents had my lic. for God knows how long and I pay 35/mo. for liability with progressive.

DSMED is right really this all depends on your driving record and where you live.
 
Hey, I am 16, turning 17 in may, and have been insrued ona nother car for over 6 months. I am going to be buying a 2g turbo soon, and I was wondering what other people were paying for insurance.

I was paying about 135 on my 90gst when I was 17 i'm now paying about 100 for my 95 gst i'm 19yrs old now. full cover on both of them with farmers.
