installing gauges

Hey guys,
getting ready to install my boost gauge and air/fuel gauge. Couple of questions though. Tapping into the fp line is the most accurate right? And my gauges have "smoked lenses. On my boost gauge my orange line goes to lights. Then on my air/fuel I have 4 wires. The 3 are the reading wires that I am gonna tap into the ecu harnesses. But the 4th wire is orange like the boost gauge. So I am assuming it's lights too? any input?

Yup. Tap it into a line thats hot when your lights are on. The same as the boost gauge should be fine.

EDIT: They should both have a ground wire as well. Make sure they are well grounded so you dont have to redo it again later

just a little info about how i did mine.. i just installed the same gauges last night and found a website that shows pics and detailed info on how to tap into your dimmer lights if you want to. i did it and i believe this would probably be the easiest because its very close, you can dim them with the gauge cluster, and it comes on when you start your car up...just seen this post and thought i might add that well heres the website:
