I dropped the trans in my wife's Eclipse GS-T today to install an ACT 2100 with ClutchNet street disk setup.
First thing I did was mic the flywheel because it doesn't have many miles. It mic'd .610" so I decided to just use it as-is.
Next, I installed the entire assembly on the work bench just to take a look at the finger placement. I didn't like what I seen. The fingers are almost all the way straight into each other. I mic'd an almost-new OEM disk and it read a few thousands less than the new ClutchNet so I cannot see that being the issue.
Im a little confused because the flywheel is fine, the disk is fine and the pressure plate is fine.
I took a few pics. Although not the easiest to make out I think they may help to understand. Any ideas?
