installing a 1G motor into a 1995 AWD chasis

Okay guys so the title of the post pretty much explains what im doing, I have a built 1G motor i'm trying to put in my 1995 2G chasis. What I need to know is what alterations need to be done to the wiring configuration. I currently have a 2G harness, 1995 AWD, in the car and am getting ready to pull the current motor transmission and x case. I know the CAS is different and I have read up on how to convert it, but do I even need to do so being that I'm swapping the entire long block into the chasis, and also as state what alterations do I need to make to the harness. I have some 1G wiring to play with but its a mess right now and I need some solid advice on the entire process. I'm scared to do it myself so I took it to a shop, but even they need help, I have not hit the lottery yet, so I need to know what they need to do so there is as less man hours as possible.

Your 2G harness will work fine. Wire length should be fine as well.

The major difference you may encounter is, if you run a 2G head with a CAS, you will either need to buy a cam angle sensor plug-in style adaptor, or cut off the original connector and wire up your own arrangement.

Take the extra wires and connectors from the harness for any items you delete, and coil them up and zip tie them under the battery tray until you are SURE you will not be putting any of them back in service. Could save a lot of time later...
