If anyone out there has tried this; How hard is it to fit an EVO V Intercoler, and how much of a difference did it make?

VRSF FMIC is better screw evo 8 fmic.

I think you are missing the point. That is a large intercooler which isn't needed for a 16g or 14b.

Ok well you can install the evo fmic with the factory piping with some modifications. Most of my piping is from the stock piping and it doesn't hang down.

I was one of the guys who lucked up on a free evo front mount, Looked around for pics on how to mount it and what not. Always tuned up empty handed. So i said #### it. Ordered some piping kit from amazon. Got some new blades for my hand pipe cutter and went to town. Took me all freaking day but I got it in. After weeks and weeks of trying to figure out how to mount the freaking thing. I found the easiest way is to line your intercooler up with your front bumper brace. Mark 2 spots to have 2 small pipes welded. Had mines done at a local radiator repair spot for 15 bucks. Now running the pipe is very simple. figure ether you want to run short or long. I took the short route....I have tommorrow of. Let me guys know if you want some pics of the piping.

How come all these installs look like they have excessively long routing to and from the core?

Through the fender and up around the filter, and all the way out through both fog holes... if I wanted them (still have them) I could use my fogs on my 2gb bumper with this installed. Mines a straight shot from the tb to the intercooler.
