Put the battery cables on backwards a while back. Replaced all bad fuses and the exhaust after I found out some components were burnt. Car will sputter and barely run when your giving it some throttle and runs super rich. Keep in mind the ecu was replaced with a eprom with dsmlink like it had before, car also has upgraded injectors. Could this be a problem with a sensor or a tune issue. I have kinda given up at this point. Any pointers? It’s a 97 eclipse gst

Given what you've already done the chances are you've got a bad sensor that's feeding your ECM crap information. I would hook up one of the various 'read out what my ECM thinks is going on' programs -- I use EVOSCAN but there are a bunch of others -- and look at the numbers for the different inputs -- MAF, O2, etc.
