2G Injectors not fitting in fuel rail

I bought these Bosch injectors off of someone on the forums here and they aren’t fitting into the fuel rail.

I’m guessing I’m screwed cuz they obviously won’t fit but maybe I’m doing something wrong and not putting them in right?

Update: if I put the o ring from the stock injectors could this work?

Is there a spacer on that new injector thats making it bigger, i see a black line so im thinking it might be an add on for different sizes? Its my guess anyway

Are you talking about the o ring? Because that's whats causing it to not fit pretty much.

I’m sorry but I’m having trouble understanding what u mean are u saying I should be able to pull it apart because it’s one solid piece so I can’t

It was a guess, what about that top hat, thats pushed on by the looks of it, can that come off?

Was these on a running dsm though or just bought in hopes they fit and work?

I guess they were bought in hopes they would fit I bought them without doing much research because they were on the forums here so I thought they would fit but I guess not

Oh i see. Yeah not everything is for our cars and they might of seen this and just sold them on

They are for the 420a engine not the 4g63.

They need the tops turned down or the injector bosses drilled out in the rail.

Will I need adapters for the block side of the injector too?

Where can i get ones that will fit? And will the block side screw in I didn’t even try when the car was apart

There are no adapters to make an injector of the stock length like these work.

3 options. Turn down the tops to fit a stock rail like fic and pte did with those injectors, drill the bosses in a rail to fit(cheapest option), or get other injectors.
