injector resistor box question

just a question ive been wondering about....what would happen if the injector resistor box was unplugged or removed in a 98 tsi awd talon?

ECU's designed to drive low impedance injectors can drive high impedance injectors without the use of a resistor box and not damage to the ECU, but the reverse will kill your computer. Our ECU's are designed to drive low impedance injectors so by eliminating your resistor box you will burn up your ECU.
