Injector issues. Hate em!

Ok so off an on for about 2 months i would have an injector shut off, (#2 seemingly based off of a balance test, simply pulling the plugs off one at a time) if i went wide open throttle for a moment it would come out of it, not smart i know i found this out of frustration. I have tried my oem ecu and my ecmlink v3 ecu with the same results. I also ran a new ground wire from the injector to the ecu just to make sure there was not a broken wire. This changed nothing for about a week. Now #2 will not ground at Has power. But..... When i open link and manually run the injectors, #4 in the list is the one that makes no difference when i activate it. Guys i have days if not weeks into this, any ideas at all? I have a buddy with a 95 gst i am debating swapping the harness with.

So in case anyone cares, Turns out i had a bad engine harness. I replaced it with one from a buddies gst he was parting out and whalla! I inspected the entire harness and could not find anything obvious. Car runs super smooth now and most importantly, it runs on all four cylinders. Thanks again for all your input.

Damn, glad you figured it out. I fought the same problem for quite a while and still dont know what it was. Probably a loose wire as thats all i messed with. These things can be very tough to track down and can cause thousands in damage. Im running a new harness and tucking it with new build upcoming. I also have a spare ecu this time around.

Very bizarre issue. Having run new wires for injector grounds to the ecu with no luck had me screaming. I wanted my dsm curse gone. I was ready to stand in line for a subaru, thank god i didnt, but the payoff is sweet and today im off to take pics for the calendar. Im going to tuck mine (again) later. This one is lying as it landed for now. I just want to enjoy driving it for a couple days before i turn anymore wrenches. I ll probably re loom everything too.
