So I'm making sure by the time I get a new battery an alternator in I can at least drive my car to get it tuned properly now that I have installed the new computer setup.
I had keydiver convert the stock boost gauge to a knock-sum gauge and set for my 660cc injectors.
To that I added a GEN 2 MAF translator that works like a better SAFC I can also adjust timing with, again thanks to keydiver. It also does that cool wideband reading and tuning thing but I don't have a wideband yet so anyway...
Would I be safe making lil' adjustments using the knock gague and simple narrowband a/f gauge I have on my A-pillar?...its just one of those red-yellow-green-red light bar ones haha.
Amongst the folder-o-stuff from previous owners I just found a chart plotting Air/Fuel & boost psi (y axis left an right) vs RPM (x axis) from a base dyno run I guess. It goes from 2500rpm to beyond 6500. Would this be of any use to me?...looks like i could at least need a new MBC because the psi drops from 20 at 4k an drops to somewhere around 17 at 6.5k. Is this something I should address?
