I know everyone always asks this question but, I have a 95 Eclipse GST, 7 bolt, 16g turbo bolted up to a stock exhaust manifold, to a ported 2.5 inch O2 housing, to a 3 inch downpipe. I wanted to get a Megan racing exhaust, but don't have the money right now and my build is almost complete, I was wondering if there's any good/average name brand exhaust out there, that would be cheaper than $425.

I know I don't wanna go cheap with my build, but I need the exhaust and I'm trying not to go ebay =/

First, Megan Racing is an ebay brand, or at least that's how it started. Second, Go ebay. Don't cheap out on important things like your turbo, fuel pressure regulator, etc. Exhaust pipes are just pipes, there are no moving parts. The general consencious is that ebay pipes work just fine.

Punishment Racing has the Megan Racing FWD catback for $419 shipped.

Ebay has several options in the price range of $120-130 shipped, like this one.

Hope this helps!

The only thing i can say about eBay is they will say that the pipes are stainless steel and they will be polished and not ss so then they end up rusting. For the money i dont think you will find a better deal than punishment racing or Megan racing.

My current 3" exhaust is polished SS but before I got it I had a 2.5" aluminized exhaust for about 7 years and it never rusted.

Okay cool, thanks guys I appreciate the advice, ill probably go with the ebay I need to save my money and like some of you said, its just piping. I had ebay exhaust on my 99 GS and it sounded okay. Just for a turbo applicant I wanted the best of the best but its all good. Thanks again guys

No problem! Trust me though, even if you had the exact same exhaust on a n/t and a turbo, the turbo would sound WAY better.

On my n/t my 2.5" exhaust with a cat and a resonator was stupid loud. Now I have a full 3" on my turbo with no cat and it sounds beautiful!

I got my 3inch turbo back done for 200 . Sounds nice . Try to get a shop to quote you. You may get a good deal. Im totally happy with my exhuast.<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/REbySrwMojs?hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/REbySrwMojs?hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I run the SR-S cat-back that I purchased on Ebay almost 3 years ago and it still looks good and sounds good and for 200.00 shipped is a good deal imo and I would purchase it again no doubt.

^+1 my buddy has the same exhaust on his gst. his has held up great and sounds pretty good to

The exhaust I posted up from ebay, it says it'll fit 95-99 gst and gsx models, now would it really? I know the exhaust on the turbo models go over the rear control arm? I think? But can this exhaust fit a gst or a gsx or they bent differently?

Y 907gs-t thanks man I think I found my exhaust, I watched some vids on youtube, shit sounds sexy for an ebay exhaust. Now when installed it just bolts straight on right, no welding. And does it have a little slant? Like upward?
