I was planning on buying the hks ssqv since my freind gave me a flange that would directly bolt on to my stock pos uicp. I also found out that the ssqv im getting tends to flutter when I recirculate it from what ive heard. So im leaning towards buying a greddy type rs recirc. Does the greddy type rs work with my stock boost lvl? Also, will it flutter when i recirculate it?

PS: Ive read a couple post that is similar to mine but does not give me the direct answer i needed.

well then unless ## hellbent on putting that bov on RIGHT NOW...id just keep the ssqv, and do the bov and intercooler and pipes all at one time. then when the boost is turned up pretty good, you should see very little if any fluttering

my type s flutters - i dont mind it...and only because its set for 28lbs and sometimes i shift well before max boost...its no problem as long as its not causing comp surge

but still...if i could start over, and i was in his shoes...id get a FMIC kit, and put the bov on then

yeah but, when he goes from smic to fmic, he'll ###### want short route piping to clean up the piping maze...why buy twice?

my advice - save the bov, get an ETS(or similar) FMIC kit with flange, get the turbo, and put it all on at once.

Go with the type S, I have had both the rs and s and I much prefer the type s. Its a little harder to find a nice used one for a decent price, but you will be happy with it. It sounds amazing, and holds a good amount of boost.

well i do need a brand new bov since my stock pos broke down. im currently using a mini van to get around because i dont want anymore damage done to my car.. so a quick but good replacement for me would be to buy a better one. i dont have ssqv bov, only the bolt on flange for it. So im leaning towards buying the type rs, bolt it on stock boost for now. and then later replacing my whole ic+turbo setup (when i have the money of course).

if your gonna do that and your planning on routing the ic through the stock location (the one you get down the road) you might also want to get a uicp like i stated earlier :beatentodeath: that way you wont need to touch the uicp again

I went with the type rs some people have had problems with them but mine's go to good.
