Looking for some help with a timing curve and fuel maps. Im currently at 30psi. And have adjusted fairly accordingly, but my car kinda bogs down at around 24psi. Looking for some pictures of maps or maybe even a tune i can reflash and modify.

I actually agree with you 100%, I was trying to avoid a long winded paragraph breaking down the actual dynamics of fuel trims and settling for a more general understanding though. The % is just simpler terms for how it operates, although the application on new computers, they do actually know actual AFR.

Honestly even locked in open loop all the time you're not at any more mercy of blowing something up than with closed loop on. The times that cylinder pressure are highest and most likely to cause harm from mechanical failure, you're in open loop anyways. Closed loop is simply to compensate for changes in air density, temp, and the occasional slow mechanical failure. As the engine wears, vacuum decreases, passages become clogged from carbon etc. Closed loop just increases the service life, if every car ran in open loop indefinitely we'd be maintenancing a prius every 10-15k to try and maintain service.

Here's 2 logs from tonight. I have done alot of adjusting, and even reset my fuel and timing maps back to stock ceddy big maps. I adjusted my idle using latency and scaling, but my cruise is around 16-17.5, and for some reason at very light throttle its 19-21
