For DSM's or any car? The 4G63T itself is the same from USDM and JDM. However, some things that came on them are different. Like injectors, turbo, and intake manifold. For Honda/Nissan/Toyota motors, I don't know good companies.

Usually the cost of an imported engine is more expensive than a rebuilt long block. In some cases you can get a built shortblock with forged internals for the same price as an imported engine.
