my motor is reading 43 counts of knock its a new sensor so it cant be bad, and i found out that at idle my tps is reading ten percent, and today i put my s-afc2 in and i hooked it all up but like its not reading a knock sensor on it and the rpms are way off. like when my gauge cluster reads 2500rpms the s-afc2 read 1200rpms. when i adjust my tps wil that fix everything or what else could it be WTF
 
The safc knock reading doesn't work so I wouldn't worry about that. If the rpms are of you probably don't have the safc settings correct. Read the manual and go through the settings and make sure they are all correct.

To fix your afc rpm reading all you have to do is switch it from reading 4 cylinders to 2 cylinders.

Its its nice sized one you will lose ALOT of air. I would get it taken care of if you have one.
 
I had knock that high on my stock (at the time) engine. Cleaning the intake/pistons with MCCC got rid of it.

At idle, the TPS is supposed to read 10% (really 0.5V, out of a 0 to 5V range).
 
Alot of things have been known to cause knock. I have seen revised lifter get rid of knock. motor mount inserts get rid of knock. Boost leaks, not enough fuel, over torquing the knock sensor, the list can go on.

The 43 counts you are seeing is that at idle, cruise or WOT? can you post a typed out log? not the program but the values actually displayed, I belive pocketlogger has some sort of export feature to do this. And did this just start happening over night or did you make a change when all this knock started occuring? Last update your profile so we know your mods and whats done to the car. Thanks.
