some problems im having and im lost

To explain the issues im having is random mis fire, randomly smell rich amount of gas at times as if its not burned, high idle but always changes anywhere from 1200 - 2k rpm when warmed up, sometimes acts as if its going to stall out on start up by missing extremely bad and having a hard time trying to bring the idle up unless I just tap the gas e few times, does also at times buck and or change rpm when throttle is steady.

I do have a CELL code p0505 which is idle control malfunction. Could a bad Isc motor actually cause these issues?

Also lastly my friend said their should be a ground wire on the exhaust which I don't have. If there is suppose to be a ground their where does it hook up and where does it go to?

well my one has a ground from the front cat bolts so not that ridiculous have you done a boost leak check

Check your tps, couldn't hurt.. mine came loose once and broke the mounting flanges on the sensor. Had pretty much the same symptoms. A couple of zip ties did the trick

Definitely, the ICS will cause the same problem that you have.

Test it and if it is bad, replace it, I am almost sure that's your problem, which the ECU is telling you the ICS is malfunctioning.

The down pipe uses a ground wire from the body, It is to help the O2 sensor get an accurate reading, But at most of the time, this wire is not needed.
The down pipe will get the ground through the bolts of the front O2 housing, But because there is a gasket in between, some times is hard for the ground to get to the down pipe.

This is the same thing with the ground wire that we all have at the back of the Intake, some of us don't use it, and some of us have to put the wire back on, because the TPS and or ICS doesn't get ground through the bolts.

Thanks for the responses and unfortunately I can't afford a multi meter but know where a gst is sitting for parts. Boost leak done and also can anyone tell me how many turns the BISS screw should be set at I just believe. It has been altered.

Screw it all the way in and do 2 complete turns out and you are set.

Just as fyi the BISS screw was 3 turns out too much which I would guess cause the ICS motor to burn up.
