ok im putting a 94 ignition coils and power transistor and iv already installed the tacho interface but now im wondering about the noise filter do i stiil need it sence im using the 94 power transistor because dont it have the noise filter made in it or do i need to wire the noise filter in too because here is how i was told to do the tacho interface
1) remove the tach driver module from your 1990 coilpack and attach it to your 1994 coilpack. Its only 2 wires, one to each coil. Then, cut the white tach wire loose from the 1994 transistor plug, and attach it instead to the tach output of the 1990 tach driver module.

ok guys i got it but for any body doing a 90 6 bolt swapp in a 92.5-94 car and using a 90 ecu and dash gauges you have to use the 94 harness and i explained the tacho interface above and the noise filter has 3 white wires on it two at the same spot on the plug tied together and one by its self your tacho interface out put wire goes to one of the white wires that is together on the tacho plug and the other double wire gos to the white wire from the power transistor the white one you cut in earlier post and the white wire on the tacho plug by itself goes to the tach but the 90 had two separate white wires one to ecu and one to tach the 94 only has one to ecu and tach so cut the white tack wire on dash gauge harness and run a new white wire from the single wire on tacho plug to the dash tach gauge so you have two single wires to ecu and tach gauge just like a 90 hope that makes seance dont do this part of last postThen, cut the white tach wire loose from the 1994 transistor plug, and attach it
instead to the tach output of the 1990 tach driver module. ill try and post pics
