ok on my 95 talon i had just relocated the battery to make room for my 3" gm maf. I take my car out and its running great. until i get down the road and the car begins to over heat. I test my radiator cap and its bad so i replace it. afterwords i pull the car back a couple feet so i can spot any leaks while the car is running. Like and idiot i stall the car:ohdamn:doh oh well no big deal. Start the car right up WRONG!!! car hasnt started since i push it into the garage and started checking it out fuel pump is running but i pull the plugs out and try to test it sparks at almost random times and sometimes not at all. this happens on all 4 cylinders. i check it out and im not getting signal to the coils i have the one hot wire but the other two arnt doing anything. i tested the connections with a test light. ( i apologize for my terminology i don't know of another way to explain it) i found some damaged wires i soldered them back together. no difference. i replace the cas with a 1g blacktop i ment to install anyways(not the best way to do it i know but that's what i had on hand) i swapped the pins in the ecu per these instructions from rre still no difference. I have also swaped out the transistor pack with a spare that i have and have pulled off a running motor. double checked all of my connections and have no other ideas. please help

well bad news i think. i tried to hook up my pocket logger with the key in the ignition and it refused to connect to my ecu it got power to the obd2 jack and that's it. Does this mean my ecu is fried? i sure as hell hope not cause im kinda broke ill take the ecu out and check it visually but i don't know what else i can do. i think i found it and this news kinda sucks. for this was my daily driver. if you have any suggestions let me know im not super sharp with these computers. thank you.

k no replies but just in case anyone has a similar problem and is searching it turned out to be my ecu. I plugged in my pocket logger flipped the key to the on position and then gave it time to recognize the ecu. Then when I went to start the engine it lost communication with the ecu and I could not gain it back. even after leaving the car off for awhile. The ecu was faulty and it was causing it to not send a signal to create a spark. I opened up the ecu and found a spider! i guess he must have got in there and when stepped on some of the contacts created a short and fried something. he was twitching still and he was laid right out on the corner of the board across from the eprom chip. I don't know if it can be fixed but maybe ill try it when i get the cash then i can get an ecm link or something. I found a new one on here and when i get it and the car actually starts I will post one last time just to confirm but I'm certain that I am dead on this time.

Did you take pics of the spider? I'd be real curious to see what it did.

Most ECM makers put a spider inside the ECM, to catch all the bugs in their code. :D

Ok, bad jokes aside, have you double checked the wiring on your battery relocation, and verified that the voltage drop is minimal, and all wires are still connected properly?

yeah i checked it its all good and as it turns out the ecu wasn't it either. grr... I don't know what to do its probably something stupid and ill be so embarrassed I'll want to be rid of this post. By the way I used 2 gauge copper cable and i ran it through the panels then through that nice piece of conduit under the door then to the fire wall i soldered in some 2 gauge copper cable and to connect the acc I opened up the cable stuffed the wires inside and soldered those in. for I could not find any piece of hardware that would allow me to jump the wires out of that power source.
