The problem: No spark at any of the spark plugs, The fuel injectors are working correctly I have fuel. The starter is working great. My MSD DIS-2 ignition system LED is flashing when attempting to start the car indicating a grounding issue.

Tests performed: pulled the plugs out, grounded them and turned the engine over, no spark, fuel was being sprayed into the cylinder.

Checked resistance of 2 sets of 2 white ignition wires connected to the positive battery terminal, wires all read around approx. 6k ohms, should be reading somewhere in the mega ohms.

Tested the alternator, it was dead, replaced it, solved 1 of the wire resistance issues.

isolated second issue to the circuit with the 30amp fusible link labeled Ignition switch.

What was done to the car recently: The engine was working fine, but I took the vehicle to a transmission shop, They replaced the transmission, clutch, and flywheel. They called me and told me the engine wouldn't start after they were done, and that it had no spark. I took the vehicle back after a couple days of them not being able to figure it out. The vehicle ran fine before I took it to them.

What I found: one of the wires going between my tach adapter of my MSD ignition to the power transistor module had come undone. and my Alternator was dead, the voltage regulator had been fried (wondering if they tried to use a jump box and hooked it up backwards).

So what should I likely look at first? power transistor module? the MSD system? Coil packs? Possible damaged wires?

Not sure how replacing a transmission could cause this issue, still searching and testing for what could of caused it. Any input, similar experiences, or further questions would be greatly appreciated.

The MSD itself has a plug, but after the plug is the tach adapter unit, so that has to be cut out, the wires are quite long in case I have to cut it out, but I unfortunately do not have the bypass plug to return the system to stock ignition. I will have to order one if I can find it, and cut the tach adapter out to do that but if I can't solve it by then I will.

Yes and Yes, I have both of the manuals, as well as the DSM manual.

The power transistor module passed testing and appears to not be my problem. Going to test the coil packs next, still looking for a possible damaged wire.

Here is an attachment of the wiring diagram showing the four white wires mentioned in the first post. The top two going to the charging system have been corrected, and resistance reads correctly now.

The bottom two going to fusible link 6 are still an issue. With the fusible link in place, resistance readings are around 6k ohms, with the fusible link removed, the resistance jumps up into the mega ohms like it should be, I tried removing every other fusible link individually and testing the resistance, it only changed when fusible link 6 was removed. To my knowledge that goes straight to the ignition switch itself with 2 connectors along the way.
