Idle switch wire

Just found out about the idle switch when grounded to use secondary maps, this is an awesome feature if it works correctly, and I even asked here if there was a way to run lower timing when my meth fails, (they just said I'd need a standalone ecu) my main question is which wire is it (I believe people said it's on the tps, just making sure which one) and do I just cut the wire and run it from the ecu to the boost safe wire? (Grounded when meth fails) I already have scramble boost connected to the boost safe wire, and if this works, when meth fails, boost will drop to 15.5, timing will drop and fuel will be added.

pin 87 on the ecu is the input for the idle switch. It is a yellow/red wire.

if you are looking for it under the hood, its part of the TPS. the 4th wire in the connector.

I haven't used this function, so I am not sure past that. This all seems like stuff you could search for yourself.

Probably I am the one of who told you that you would need a standalone or some device to do that. Because you didn't state your setup before I replied, you don't update your DSM profiles neither. You should prepare all infos before you ask for help. Nobody would be able to know what setup you have unless you state it.
Assuming you are talking about ECMLink, you can use the idle switch as an input. Just remove the pin or cut it. It's a yellow/red wire, then connect the green wire form the AEM controller to ecu pin #87.

A 2G has it in the TPS. So a 2G TPS has 4 pins instead of 3.
