Figure I'd post this in the "newb" section. I've been searching for a bit now to the answer to this question and having a hard time getting any answer.
On the 1g's there is a 1 wire on/off switch for the Idle switch it detects when the throttle is open or closed and tells the ECU the status.
My question is what happens when the wire running from this switch to the TPS wire harness is bad?
What are some of the behaviors to expect from this switch not getting it's signal out?
