would a bad idle switch cause the car to have a weird idle. its only when i take the car out of gear such as when its in neutral. the rpms go up to about 2500 or 3000 then it falls. and it does that until i put my foot on the brake or when i am going. its weird. ive checked for any vaccum leaks and fixed any that i had it also has a new ISC motor. any ideas guys?

Have you tried unplugging the ISC during idle? try that and see if it makes a difference..

Also did you "Visually" look for leaks or did you actually do a boost leak test?

A boostleak test will be your best bet because that can mess up your idle..

i jsut visually checked and sprayed the all the lines with carb cleaner to check for any leaks and got all those covers but yea a boost leak test would be my best bet.

i havent tried unpluggin the isc. it only idles weird as im coming to a stop in neutral or as soon as i stop it will do it once or twice really fast then stop? :ohdamn:
