OK everyone, this is my first 1G I bought for $500. The only problem with the car was a burned out TCU. After countless searches in my local junk yards, I found a member on the forum here parting out a Talon TSi. I plugged it up and everything works great. I am a happy camper. So I took her out on a quick test drive to see how she performs with everything working. I noticed once I was at cruising speed, I was at around 3K rpms at 75-80mph. The engine was running smooth. I punched it and it downshifted, went up to 4k rpms and was gone like a bat out of hell. It went back to to OD an continued up to 100mph at about 33k rpms. I don't know much about these cars. I would just like to know if these tac readings are about right in accordance with the traveled speed. Thanks.
