Quick quesrion. Will a 1g spped sensor work on a 2g? Mine went bad and found a 1g for a decent price.

are you talking about the idle motor thats usually a brownish color connection? if so as long as its not a 90. 91+ only, notice the ports on top.

The ISC (Idle Speed Controller) is compatible on 1g's and 2g's. However the newer "revised" black body ones are known to last longer. DSMISC Automotive (New ISC Supplier). Here are two videos which make it very easy to test your ISC (Do both).

So what's the difference in the tsp sensor on a 1g/2g I know the 2 g has 4 plugs
But doesn't it also controll the idle as well? My car starts off rough but the idle begins to raise up as it gets warmer. I let it idle for 30 minute and it eventually was at 1300 rpms So is it the tps or isc that is faulty?

The 2G TPS has an internal IPS rather than the one on the backside of the 1G TB.
