Idle rough

Hey tried to research but couldnt come up with it so here it goes....
My car starts up and sounds fine cold after running for a bit that it gets warm drives fine but while coming to a stop at a light or sign starts to act up in that it starts to spit and spuder i have to constantly rev at 2g to keep it from spit and spuder out while it is parked it will idle but really rough and almost cut off. I just did a head swap and it ran fine for about 3 days with no problems. Possible water got in the cylinder, if so how do i get it out ? any info would be nice ASAP. Thanks for looking.

Have you checked the spark plugs and wires yet. See what the spark plugs look like. Is the car running rich? I had a sort of the same thing happen to me. Turned out mine were gapped wrong and were real dirty from the car running rich.

Those spark plugs are new but i mean it ran fine for 3 days then started doing this ill check the gap

I had a similar problem. Could be you didn't scrape the intake manifold the good enough and maybe if you used RTV it blew out or maybe a pinhole leak turned bigger. Try spraying starter fluid around the intake manifold to see if it changes your idle, then try the throttle body.

Thanks for all the ideas after pulling my head out the sky started to look toward not getting enough fuel and changed the inline fuel filter and o2 sensor and it runs good but still occationly shuts off without warning. Thanks for your inputs.
