Idle drops then car dies

I was driving my 98 eclipse 420a, today with no problems, hit the expressway no problems, then as soon as I downshift then dropped it in neutral then it died. I started it back up and gave it gas then it was fine, as long as I keep the idle above 1k rpms. I never had this problem so I have completely no idea what it can be. Please I seriously need help thank you!

I had the same problem, with my DD and it was the EGR solenoid.
