I wanted to know what is a good idle control valve to buy for a 95 420a engine. I’ve heard if you don’t buy a good one it’ll just idle ruff still and I don’t want to have to buy a part twice.

Just the standard OEM, or OE-compatible, part should do the trick. M04796503 is the part number. OEM units show up on eBay from time to time. You can also probably find one in a local junkyard. Otherwise any of the usual parts suppliers will have OE-compatible models--I don't think there's a significant difference between any of them.

There's a large interchangability with that part. Many Chrysler engines used the same or at least a similar part. You should be able to walk in the parts store and get one. I noticed with the last one I bought, that it also fit Dodge trucks and Chrysler vans. You can save a few bucks by ordering from RockAuto, but if you need it quickly, walk in somewhere and grab one. The only thing I'd stay away from are the dirt cheap ones on Amazon. The build quality isn't the greatest.
