So the other day, my power steering reservoir started leaking, then the whole bottom tube fell off.. so i want to make an aluminum PS reservoir, oil catch can, coolant over flow... i also wanna make my own intake manifold and short ram intake and my own front bumper clips.. my gsx is really low and seems to be getting towed alot lately.. i also want to reupholster my headliner, shift boot, and visor.. does anyone know what material and specs ill need for making all these items? Thanks guys!!!

With custom fabrication it is pretty much if you are capable of doing the work than you should have a pretty good idea how to build what you are looking to build. Do you have a welder, do you know how to weld?

Not only do you have a welder, but an aluminum welder. Its a bit more involved than regular welding, more practice, knowledge of materials. But that being said, you could always make the pieces and take them to be welded by a professional... you wouldn't want oil, power steering fluid and coolant all leaking under your car at the same time.

And for materials... its really all up to you, I've seen coolant overflow bottles made out of 24oz monster energy drink cans.

As for your interior, go walk around a fabric store and let your mind be blown by whatever you see there. Get some pleather, shag, vinyl, suede, zebra print, pink leopard print... really whatever you want. Then go get some spray adhesive, read some write ups on how to disassemble the interior and your good to go.

Its all really what you want.

Yes i have a mig/tig welder and know how to weld aluminum.. just lookin to get some dimensions really.. planning on using a NOS energy can as my overflow :sneaky:

Watch out wed got a bada$$ over here.. Thats got to add atleast 200 hp right? How can I do that? :D

It all depends. Where you going to mount it, and what fittings and how much coolant you want to be able to hold etc etc. You are only limited by your imagination.
Look at my site gamble-racing.com i have made a bunch of catch cans so you can get some ideas.
Never did a PS reservoir not even sure what is inside, wish I did because i want to do one.
Short ram intake should be super simple. Maybe 2 45* pipes and a bead roller
Front bumper clips, save yourself the trouble and buy them from gixxerman. They are a QUALITY piece and if I ever get another dsm it's the first thing I'm going to order.
Intake manifold, umm, well. Ya never built one so you are on your own. You need to research and figure out plenium size, runner size, length etc etc

sounds good having those welders my buddy has a welder and welds lots of stuff, looking to have some custom stuff done myself soon.

The PS reservoir is just a can really with a long white filter (not even really needed)
