So I have a 52mm A/F ratio gauge that is mounted on a 2 pod instrument bezel (steering column)- I have a dual 60mm A-pillar gauge which is full. I can't think of a fourth gauge to fill this empty hole, so I'm considering putting the stuck instrument gauge bezel back in, and mounting the A/F gauge elsewhere.

Are there any suggestions / write-up's as to where I could place it? I've seen people replace a center air vent (not sure of the dangers in that) and I've seen it mounted where the cigarette lighter is (which I use to charge my phone, and really enjoy).

Any help / write up's would be helpful here!

You can mount it anywhere really. There are absolutely no dangers in mounting gauges in any of the vents. I may be doing this myself sometime in the near future on my GSX. You could also get one of those single gauge pods that are meant to mount on top of the dash.

Is a triple gauge pod on the A pillar and removing the steering column pod an option?

It is. My spyder currently has a triple pod on the A-pillar. I'm considering changing it though because it can be a bit of a blind spot at times, and I've had retarded Honda people asking me if my car is turbo'd just because I have pillar gauges, and then they wanted to race. Beginning to want my car to stand out less than it already does.

I agree then putting it in the dash will have no ill effects or possibly if you have a smaller aftermarket radio than factory sticking it below that.

If all you want is a digital numerical gauge readout. I am redoing this and basing it around an arduino. Should be able to get 3 multiple digit numbers and it would be easy to measure boost, temp and others directly from the original sensors. (simple read and write program). Its on the back burner.
