i think my tranny is leaking......what could it be??

i have noticed some trans fluid under my car. its not alot maybe like a quarter size puddle every day or so. it seems to be spread all over the bottom of the tranny. anyone else had this before and what could it be.

also, im not sure how to check the level of this fluid????

Wipe everything clean, go for a 5 minute spin, and find out where the leak is coming from. To check the fluid level, you open the fill hole. The fluid should be to the bottom of the hole, almost able to spill out. Make sure you are parked LEVEL.

I would expect the leak to be coming from the fill or drain plugs.
